1. Accepted Payment Methods We exclusively use PayPal to process all transactions. This ensures your payment is handled by one of the world's most trusted and secure payment platforms.

You can pay using:

  • PayPal Account Balance: Log in to your existing PayPal account to pay instantly.
  • Credit/Debit Cards (Guest Checkout): You do not need a PayPal account to pay. You can use major cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) by selecting "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" (or "Check Out as a Guest") at the PayPal checkout screen.

Please note: We do not accept Cash on Delivery (COD), Cheques, or Bank Transfers.

2. Currency & Exchange Rates (Important for UK Customers)

  • Store Currency: All prices listed on our website are in US Dollars (USD / $).
  • Currency Conversion:
    • Although we are a UK-based business, our payment gateway currently operates in USD.
    • When you make a purchase from the UK, your bank or PayPal will automatically convert the USD amount to British Pounds (GBP) based on the exchange rate at the time of the transaction.
  • Foreign Transaction Fees:
    • Depending on your bank or credit card issuer, you may be charged a small "Foreign Transaction Fee" or "International Service Fee" for paying in USD.
    • Varalux.shop does not collect these fees and has no control over them. The final amount on your bank statement may differ slightly from the displayed price due to these bank-imposed rates and fees.

3. Payment Process For your security, the actual payment process takes place on PayPal's encrypted servers:

  1. Select your solid wood foot bath and proceed to checkout.
  2. After entering your shipping information, click "Complete Order".
  3. You will be redirected to the secure PayPal website.
  4. Log in to pay, or select "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" to pay as a guest without signing in.
  5. Once the payment is successful, you will be redirected back to our store to view your order confirmation.

  • SSL Encryption: Our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect your connection.
  • Financial Data Protection: We do not store or have access to your full credit card numbers or bank account details. All sensitive financial information is handled directly by PayPal, which adheres to the highest standards of PCI-DSS compliance.
